Because of the failure of state leadership, Texas has the highest uninsured rate in the country. When uninsured patients can’t pay their medical bills, those costs get shifted to everyone else through higher premiums and hospital charges. That means we are all paying more for less.

Josh believes smart policy can reduce the uninsured rate, expand access, and lower costs at the same time — ensuring every family can afford quality care in their own backyard. Our leaders have blocked reforms and allowed costs to spiral; Josh will deliver solutions that improve care while protecting taxpayers.
